UNESCO: TVET Campaign
The UNESCO Multi-sectoral Regional Office for West Africa (Sahel) in Dakar collaborates with the Korea Intl. Co-operation Agency (KOICA), the Gambian Government through the Gambia Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (MoHERST), and ACE in the implementation of the youth empowerment through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). ACE implemented a communication campaign to raise public awareness and improve the attractiveness and credibility of TVET in The Gambia.
Responsibilities:
- TVET conmmunication needs assessment, action plan and sustainability strategy for the campaign;
- Promotion of the attractiveness of TVET among all stakeholders through branding, the use of communication tools, and the implementation of a holistic nationwide campaign;
- Promotion of the visibility of TVET and the career and employment opportunities;
- Production of multimedia, audio-visual contents, including a pro-TVET documentary video in addition to another short video advertisement for the promotion of TVET opportunities to distribute on platforms like social media, television, radio, and a TVET resource website.
